Mr. Hamilton is one of America’s most recognized and sought after senior statesmen.  He served in the US House of Representatives for 34 years including key roles as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.  Since leaving Congress, Hamilton served as the Vice Chairman of the 9/11 Commission and is co-chair of the Iraq Study Group.  He currently is President and Director of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and is also the Director of The Center on Congress at Indiana University.

Dr. Falkenrath is considered one of the foremost experts in the areas of terrorism and security especially in regards to Chemical Security.  Some of his extensive experience includes roles as Deputy Homeland Security Advisor and Deputy Assistant to the President; Senior Director for Policy and Special Assistant to the President, Office of Homeland Security; Director for Proliferation Strategy, National Security Council.  Dr. Falkenrath has testified numerous times in front of both houses of Congress and is also a commentator on national security for CNN.  He currently is a Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution.

Dr. Hau L. Lee

Dr. Lee is recognized as one of the world’s best strategic thinkers in the areas of supply chain management and effectiveness.  His research efforts have included Coping with Security Costs of Terrorist Threats to Supply Chain Management and Taking the Risk Out of Supply Chains.  Dr. Lee currently teaches at Stanford University and is the Co-director of the Stanford Global Supply Chain Management Forum as well as Director of Managing Your Supply Chain for Global Competitiveness Executive Program.  Dr. Lee also works extensively with the private sector including significant work consulting companies on operations in China and emerging geographies.

Admiral James M. Loy (Ret.)
Former Commandant, United States Coast Guard

Admiral Loy was one of America’s key leaders in the war on terrorism.  He was Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security and the Administrator for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the new federal agency charged with providing security for the nation's transportation system.  Admiral Loy served as the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard and during his tenure helped restore Coast Guard readiness.  Under his leadership, the Coast Guard led the delegation to the International Maritime Organization that established the Marine Transportation Security Act which currently is the only Federal regulation that covers Chemical Facility Security.  Admiral Loy is currently a Senior Counselor at the Cohen Group.

Dr. Sam Mannan
Director, Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center, Texas A&M University

Dr. Mannan is the leading expert in the areas of safe chemical manufacturing, process safety and risk management.  The Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center, under the direction of Dr. Mannan, is a global center for expertise and research in the areas of risk assessment, inherent safety, and the role of preparedness and response to incidents.  In addition to his academic expertise, Dr. Mannan was a practicing engineer in his native Bangladesh.  He has been sought after for expert panels by the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Disease Control, the National Academy of Science, and served as a consultant to the Space Shuttle Columbia Accident Investigation Board.

Professor Friedrich Steinhäusler

Professor Steinhäusler is one of the world’s foremost experts in strategic preparation to terrorist threats and protection of security sensitive materials.  He is currently the Vice-President of the International Security Competence Centre and was co-manager for the program "Physical Protection of Nuclear Material against Theft and Sabotage" at the Center for International Security and Cooperation, Stanford University, California.  He is also Chairman of the NATO CLG Expert Group "Terrorist Threats To Nuclear Power Plants and Transport of Spent Fuel " and of the US-German Expert Group "Global Fight Against Terrorism."  Professor Steinhäusler’s publications include NATO And Terrorism : Catastrophic Terrorism And First Responders Threats And Mitigation.  He also served as evaluator of the European Union - Security Research (PASR, 2004 and 2005) and co-director of the NATO ARW "Emergency Preparedness After a Major Terror Attack".

Professor Uriel Rosenthal

Professor Rosenthal is one of the pioneers of crisis studies and a recognized expert in the areas of crisis management, emergency response policy and public preparedness.  Professor Rosenthal is chairman of the Liberals (center-right, VVD) in the Dutch Senate and serves as the director of the Institute for Safety, Security and Crisis Management in The Netherlands.  Professor Rosenthal actively consults with all levels of government and the private sector on preparedness and crisis readiness – including preparation for terrorist scenarios.  He has written extensively on the topic including the landmark work Coping With Crises: The Management of Disasters, Riots & Terrorism.

Mr. Joe D. Whitley
Former General Counsel, United States Department of Homeland Security

As the first person to hold the position of General Counsel with the US Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Whitley has dealt with virtually every aspect of the law touching on homeland security.  During his tenure with DHS, he advised on legal issues including complex civil litigation, the Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies (SAFETY) Act, transportation security, incident management, public health, infrastructure protection and intelligence sharing.  Mr. Whitley previously had an extensive career in the Department of Justice, serving as the Acting Associate Attorney General, the third-ranking position in the Department of Justice, and was a U.S. Attorney in Georgia.  Mr. Whitley is currently a partner with Alston & Bird, LLP.

Mr. Geoff Williams QFSM

Mr. Williams retired from the Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service, UK after 30 years operational experience in all ranks including serving as Deputy CFO. Mr. Williams is sought after by policy makers and media regarding preparedness and emergency response. He was co-founder of the iETRI Technical Advisory Board and a recipient of the UKâEUR(tm)s highest Fire and Rescue Service Award, the Queens Fire Service Medal (QFSM). An esteemed Churchill Fellow and Commander of the International Emergency Technical Response Institute. Mr. Williams has had extensive experience and training in the handling of hazardous materials incidents and is now sought after by policy makers around the world, the private sector and international media regarding emergency response including following terrorist attacks. He is a consultant on emergency response and preparedness and technical respiratory protection.
